HOW TO GET ON SET

WITH DIRECTOR OF PHOTOGRAPHY + CAMERA OPERATOR, KAYLA WINDSOR

Kayla Windsor is an accomplished freelance Director of Photography and Camera Operator in the film and television industry since 2010. Starting her career in the music industry, Kayla has followed musicians on tour around the globe, covering the largest festivals in the world in multiple genres.

After graduating with a Bachelors of Science in Electronic Media and Film from Northern Arizona University. Kayla moved to camera operating professional TV series and feature films found on Netflix, Amazon Prime, Apple TV, and Showtime. Working with some of the biggest brand name companies, her credits list runs long already.

As a young camera operator, Kayla dreams of working in the Marvel cinematic universe and growing towards big blockbuster films along with her dream of becoming the first female cinematographer to win Best Cinematography at the Academy Awards.

During this workshop, Kayla will cover topics including:

• how to break into the film industry

• how to network + connect with industry professionals

• how to look for film jobs

• how to get hired on set

Join us for this informative and down-to-earth workshop and gain the practical knowledge and strategies you need to get hired on set. This workshop is good for anyone interested in working on a professional set in any capacity - film crew, talent, hair + makeup artists, stylists, etc.
